Lisa Podlecki, BSc, RD, Dip. Sport Nutrition IOC

Hello! My name is Lisa. I am a Registered Sports Dietitian and avid runner. My decision to become a sports dietitian and advocate of body positivity, stems from my passion to help people and my love of running.

Nutritional information can be difficult to understand. When you factor in how proper nutrition can affect your performance as an athlete and how to apply this to an already busy schedule, it can quickly become overwhelming. I understand because I have been there!

My role as a Registered Sports Dietitian is to translate this information in a way that makes sense to you by providing realistic and sustainable recommendations. My hope is that clients leave each session feeling excited and empowered to take what they have learnt and apply it in a way that will meet their goals.

Why the Name Oak Tree Nutrition?

The name Oak Tree Nutrition stems from my love of being outdoors, trail running and the symbolism behind the oak tree. The oak tree represents courage, strength, health & healing — qualities I believe every athlete has.

Like the oak tree, I envision nutrition and health in a similar way; with the roots of the oak tree representing reputable knowledge that acts as a strong foundation and the sunlight and nourishment it receives representing the proper nutrition an athlete needs to grow and develop.

Athletes who work with me will develop a strong foundation with support and guidance along the way in order to meet their goals, stay healthy and be happy.
