Dark Chocolate Raspberry Bites

Filled with nutrient-rich ingredients and satisfying notes of chocolate and raspberries, this snack is perfect in helping keep appetite and energy levels in check! 

For athletes, this can be a great pre-workout snack or enjoyed during a slower run or bike ride!

Makes ~ 14 balls

Ingredients:

  • 10 dates

  • ½ cup raw nuts (I used ¼ cup cashews and ¼ cup of almonds)

  • ½ cup rolled oats

  • ¼ cup cocoa powder

  • ¼ cup cocoa nibs or semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 1 cup frozen raspberries

  • ½ scoop vanilla protein powder

  • ½ tsp pure vanilla extract 

  • pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Soak dates for 30 minutes.

  2. Add all ingredients to a food processor or high-speed blender.

  3. Blend until all ingredients are mixed and a smooth consistency is obtained.

  4. Roll into balls. Lightly wet hands if needed to help with rolling!

  5. Eat as is or freeze until desired later!
