Dark Chocolate Raspberry Bites
/Filled with nutrient-rich ingredients and satisfying notes of chocolate and raspberries, this snack is perfect in helping keep appetite and energy levels in check!
For athletes, this can be a great pre-workout snack or enjoyed during a slower run or bike ride!
Makes ~ 14 balls
Ingredients:
10 dates
½ cup raw nuts (I used ¼ cup cashews and ¼ cup of almonds)
½ cup rolled oats
¼ cup cocoa powder
¼ cup cocoa nibs or semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup frozen raspberries
½ scoop vanilla protein powder
½ tsp pure vanilla extract
pinch of salt
Instructions:
Soak dates for 30 minutes.
Add all ingredients to a food processor or high-speed blender.
Blend until all ingredients are mixed and a smooth consistency is obtained.
Roll into balls. Lightly wet hands if needed to help with rolling!
Eat as is or freeze until desired later!
